  Recent work: Drawing & Assemblage

These images were developed from an installation (not pictured here) for an exhibtion this year around the theme Trypitch. This time I mounted and glazed them within frames so the pieces are transformed and situate awkwardly within painterly conventions. Charcoal on paper hung on coat hangers. The presence of both the object and the illusion forms a contradiction.

  Collage Work

My work has developed from origins in
object-based work involving processes of collage and assemblage to a more consistent approach now creating installations. I often work in
site-specific ways now, where I can explore context and presence in a more complex way.

  new blog

Recent work includes installations, artist's bookworks and other object based pieces.
I will be using this blog ongoing to document experimental work and work in progress.
I have been exploring new media using sound and objects, and unconventional materials and contexts also. Two pieces (Notation for Landscape and Undisplayed) were part of an ongoing project called Play that I have been working on with other artists.
